The food was delicious! However, the amount of meat inside my birria taco did not justify the $5 price tag I was so sad when I opened up the taco. Nonetheless, it satisfied my craving but I will likely not order again.

What a steal! The food is priced so cheap you'd almost be worried waiting for the food, if it wasn't for the fact that you can smell the heavenly wafting scents on your way to the door. The pupusas are a good size and the texture is just so crisp! Salsa Verde was sweet and flavorful and good addition the plantain chips.

Read some complaining about how long it takes to get your food on reviews. This is not McDonald's, they make your order fresh! I had a normal wait and it was worth it. Ordered 4 different Pupusas and they were all great. Piping hot, great texture and flavor. The hot sauce is fire! One really hits and the other is a little sweet. I used both alternately.

I love the home cooked food kind of feel at this place. My favorite is chicken pupusa and empanadas it's awesome. The service is good, people are humble and yes since they make it after you place the order, there's a wait time but I would love to wait to get those pupusa hot with their spicy sauce. You have vegetarian options too and they make as per your preference. I usually don't like cheese and they always make pupusa with beans and chicken. You have different meat options too. I have not tried their milkshakes but I am sure it must be good from the display of it on their digital presentation board. You can get other drinks such as soda etc as well. Parking usually is less on the road side so across the street there's a parking lot. A small place to sit and eat. Simple venue but homely food experience.

Easy to find location , good parking . Dine in seating and the tables were clean and comfortable. Great varried menu , There are many Papusas to choose from and they are filling, when you add on the cabbage and sauce !

Great hidden gem in Newark: Everything here is really good. I've had vegetarian and chicken options with both burritos and pupusas. Pupusas are delicious but I feel they're a little too blackened on the grill. The burrito is just perfect. Order on the phone and pickup. They do take a bit longer to prepare than some other places. If you're ordering during rush hour maybe expect 35-40 minutes for your wait. Love to support local mom n pop shops around here. They answer the phone in Spanish but I'm too scared to practice my terrible Spanish skills so I just order in English .

Best takeout by far, but whether I dine in or takeout, the pupusas and birria tacos are amazing. Despite not being cooked to perfection, the food still tastes amazing, with a good selection and good drinks.

Yummy pupusas. The restaurant is immaculate, in a random location, and she needs your business. It will be worth your while to go and fill your belly. About two miles south on Thornton off of Dumbarton Bridge. Rita is the best and can make you anything. Yummmmy!
